The author has tried to be brief and lucid while explaining the new provisions introduced by the Sanhita and highlighting the changes introduced in the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. Comments after each section provide the corresponding section from the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and highlight the changes brought in along with relevant principles of law and judgments.
