The Bombay University complex comprising two separate buildings, the Library (built 1869-78) and the
Convocation Hall (built 1869-74), were designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott
Rajabai Towers & Bombay University
At 85 metres (280 feet), the Rajabal Tower, was funded by Premchand Roychand, the well-known banker
and ‘Cotton King. The tower was named after his mother. The Tower was designed by by Sir George

High Court was completed in November 1878. Designed by British engineer Colonel J A Fuller.
The National Bank – 1902
National Bank building on Esplanade Road was designed by Frederick Williams Stevens.
